Terms of Service

Effective: March 2026

About 244

244 is a free community fundraising platform built on Acts 2:44. It lets organizers create campaigns and coordinate direct peer-to-peer giving via Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App. 244 does not process payments, hold funds, or charge fees.

Using 244

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the campaigns you create and the accuracy of their content.
  • Campaigns must be for legitimate, lawful purposes. Fraud, misrepresentation, or campaigns intended to deceive donors are prohibited.
  • As an organizer, you are responsible for collecting funds and delivering them to the intended recipient.
  • 244 reserves the right to remove any campaign that violates these terms.

Payments

244 facilitates coordination only. All money moves directly between donors and organizers through third-party apps (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App). 244 is not a party to those transactions and assumes no liability for payment disputes, non-delivery of funds, or third-party app policies.

Organizer responsibilities

By creating a campaign, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the campaign and its purpose.
  • Use collected funds for the stated purpose.
  • Communicate honestly with your donors about the campaign status.

Disclaimer of warranties

244 is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, the accuracy of campaign information posted by users, or the delivery of funds between donors and organizers.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 244 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes between organizers and donors.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of 244 after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
